Karpfenpocken, eine harmlose, herpesähnliche Virusinfektion, die im Falle von Immunschwäche ( bei Koi oft durch zu weiches Wasser ) unschöne, aber weiter nicht störende, kleine rosa Geschwüre erzeugt. Erstaunlicherweise bekommt nicht jeder Koi diese Geschwüre, obwohl sie den Virus garantiert alle haben, wenn sie in einem Teich leben. Wenn die Haltungsbedingungen sich verbessern, verschwinden alle Pocken. Wie bei Menschen - Herpes hat man, aber man sieht es nur manchmal. Wäre also möglich, deine Welse stört irgendetwas - die Nachbarn, bestimmte Wasserwerte, Mangel an Artgenossen, oder was auch immer. Ich würde danach fahnden und das Gesäbel an den Flossen oder wo auch sonst eher zurückstellen.

Dieses Problem hatte ich auch mit Zwei L46 ern.
Ich habe den Knorpel/ Geschwür einfach abgetrennt.
Sie haben leicht geblutet aber ansonsten war alles OK.
Ich habe gedacht, das sie sich mit den Flossenenden an der Höhlen Wand verletzt haben.javascript:emoticon('???')

hatte vor einigen Monaten schon einmal bei einem anderen L-Wels am Ende einer der Brustflossen eine Art Verdickung entdeckt. Sieht aus, als wäre der normalerweise knorpelige Pectoralstachel aufgequollen, weich und rosa geworden. Dachte erst, es liegt an dem leichten Säuresturz, den ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt im selben Becken hatte, aber ein Bekannter hat häufiger mal einen Säuresturz ohne dies Phänomen je beobachtet zu haben.
Auf jeden fall hatte ich dem Tier in einem Einhängebecken für 3-4 Wochen Ruhe gegönnt und alles war wieder i.O.

Letzte Woche habe ich das selbe an meinem L46 Paar beobachtet - beide hatten solch ein "Geschwür" an der Brustflosse - diesmal aber nicht am Ende. Habe das nun bis zum Wochenende beobachtet und musste leider feststellen, dass es größer geworden ist. Nun wurde mir empfohlen mit einer sterilen Schere den Hautlappen abzuschneiden. Habe mich lange gestreubt, es aber mit extremer Vorsicht praktiziert. Das Wohlbefinden der Tiere scheint unverändert gut zu sein; allerdings hat sich bei einem Tier wohl wieder an der selben Stelle eine Verwachsung gebildet - in 3 Tagen!!!

Was mich am meisten wundert, ist das der gerade mal 8 Wochen alte NW nichts hat und die sollten doch empfindlicher sein.

Hatte von Euch jmd. so was - lt. Beschreibung - schon gesehen? Werde auch noch Bilder von dem Wiedergebildeten "Geschwür" schießen und ins Netz stellen...
