Einen Futterautomat brauchst du nicht.
Lass die 3 tage ohne Futter das ist besser.
Futterautomaten weißen öfters mal eine fehlfunktion auf das könnte schlimm ausgehen.
Auch jungtiere halten es ein paar tage ohne futter aus wenn das Aquarium richtig eingelaufen ist.
Dann finden sie auch kleingetier im mulm.
Das Weekendfutter ist der gleiche mist die welse bearbeiten den block solange bis nix mehr da ist sprich die bekommen auf einmal zuviel.

es gibt etliche Leute, die sich durch solche 'weekend'-Ringe ihren gesamten Bestand umgelegt haben. Gute Futterautomaten sind da wohl die bessere Option. Aber am besten vorher austesten!
Das Futter sollte z.B. in den Vorratsschächten nicht durchfeuchten (Kondenswasser), da es dann verdirbt.

Für adulte L46 sind 3 Tage Fasten kein Problem - zumal wir unsere Fische eh' eher überfüttern. :)

Nur sehr junge Welse (also 1-1,5 cm) können das nicht so gut ab.

ich sehe es ähnlich wie Thorsten, das werden die Tiere schon mal verkraften können.
Solange du vorher normal gut fütterst und die Welse nur ab und an mal eine solche Futterpause einlegen müssen-kein Problem!

Es gibt aber auch Weekend-Futterringe die lösen sich langsam auf.
Habe ich wohl noch nie verwendet, gibt es aber zukaufen!

Bei mir wird einmal wöchentlich ein Fastentag eingehalten, klappt auch ohne Probleme!
